ANTIQUE PORCELAIN PENDANT NECKLACE BY ISABELLE FUSTINONI – GILT-LACQUERED BRASS MOUNT

The pendant is composed of a carefully selected fragment of eighteenth-century porcelain, chosen for the refinement of its decoration and the exceptional quality of its craftsmanship.

Its decoration depicts a magnificent exotic bird with brilliantly coloured plumage in shades of red, yellow and black, perched upon a leafy branch adorned with delicate green foliage and small violet blossoms. This vibrant composition reflects the elegance and naturalistic charm characteristic of eighteenth-century European porcelain painting.

The porcelain medallion is set within a gilt-lacquered brass mount, whose softly rounded frame follows the contours of the porcelain fragment while lending warmth, elegance and contemporary refinement to the composition. The finely crafted bail, also fashioned in gilt-lacquered brass, ensures a graceful and secure attachment to the chain.

The twisted-link chain enhances the pendant with a subtle vintage character, perfectly complementing the timeless elegance and delicate poetry of the piece.
