YELLOW PORCELAIN PANSY – DIDIER GARDILLOU

BEAUTIFUL PORCELAIN PANSY BY DIDIER GARDILLOU

Beautiful porcelain PANSY created by artist Didier Gardillou. Entirely modelled and painted by hand, the flower features a broad corolla composed of five supple, gently undulating yellow petals, whose delicate modelling faithfully captures their natural folds and movement.

The heart of the flower is accentuated by deep purplish-brown touches arranged in fine radiating flames. This dark decoration, complemented by subtle coloured accents along the edges of the petals, contrasts beautifully with the luminous yellow corolla. At the centre, a small orange-yellow pistil completes this strikingly realistic botanical representation.

The flower is supported by a slender green metal stem and accompanied by several perfectly modelled porcelain leaves. Their veined surfaces, gently scalloped edges and nuanced shades of green, yellow and brown accurately reproduce the texture and natural colour variations of real foliage.

The composition is presented in a terracotta pot filled with moss. This simple and authentic presentation enhances the illusion of a pansy that has just been freshly picked or is still growing in its pot.

Through the precision of his modelling, the accuracy of his colours and his meticulous attention to the smallest details, Didier Gardillou transforms porcelain into an almost living material. This trompe-l’œil creation bears witness to his exceptional craftsmanship and keen observation of the natural world. Precious, poetic and timeless, this porcelain pansy is a delightful decorative object, ideal for bringing a touch of colour and nature into any interior.

Each creation by Didier Gardillou is a unique piece, entirely handcrafted.
