Designed as an individual vessel for drinking generally hot beverages, the cup features a rounded vertical side handle with a small scroll-shaped terminal. It has a cylindrical body and a flat base resting on a shallow foot ring. Its matching saucer likewise has a flat centre resting on a shallow foot ring and a high, sloping rim.
