A Solid Education and Exceptional Craftsmanship

From 1980 to 1985, Isabelle Fustinoni studied Jewellery and Silversmithing at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, now part of the HEAR (Haute École des Arts du Rhin). In 1983, she was awarded the Compagnon Jeweller-Goldsmith Certificate by the Chambre de Métiers d'Alsace. Upon completing her studies, she obtained the DNSEP (National Higher Diploma in Visual Arts) in Jewellery and Silversmithing, confirming both her technical expertise and her commitment to artistic excellence.

An Artistic Journey Enriched by Travel

Driven by a fascination for world cultures and traditional craftsmanship, Isabelle Fustinoni spent extended periods in Sub-Saharan Africa, working alongside local artisans. There she learned ancestral jewellery-making and silversmithing techniques, enriching both her artistic vision and her creative vocabulary. These experiences have profoundly influenced her work, enabling her to combine contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship.

Renowned for her unique contemporary creations, Isabelle Fustinoni designs jewellery, accessories, and decorative as well as functional objects, each conceived as a bespoke work of art. Her creations are characterised by the harmonious combination of a wide variety of materials, including metal, mother-of-pearl, ebony, seeds, horn, beads, and shells.

She excels in the art of assemblage, transforming diverse materials into poetic and evocative works that transcend their original nature. Every creation tells a story of travel, encounters, and unexpected combinations, reflecting a refined artistic sensibility and a richly imaginative world.
