David Mansot, born in 1972, is a French artist, designer and cabaniste - a term he proudly embraces to describe his singular artistic universe, situated at the crossroads of sculpture, fine woodworking, design and micro-architecture. After training in cabinetmaking and applied arts, he worked for many years as an interior architect, developing a refined sensitivity to form, materials and living spaces. In 2020, he decided to devote himself entirely to his artistic practice.

His work is primarily dedicated to the creation of suspended miniature cabins—remarkable architectural sculptures crafted entirely by hand. Every piece is unique, fashioned from reclaimed timber, salvaged materials and weathered architectural elements that he carefully transforms into new creations.
